About us
The Cat's Whiskers, «MEOW!» for short, is a FFXIV Free Company (aka guild) based on Lich, Light DC.We are a social focused FC for players who are looking to be part of a laid back and comfortable community. Our members are from all over Europe and a healthy mix of new and veteran players both. We also occasionally run event nights on weekends which anyone can organise regardless of rank if you are so inclined! We run anything from maps, to mount farms and raid nights.
We also offer crafting/gathering help, as well as FC buffs active at all times. Please refer to our buffs section for our buff rotation!
Lastly we have a Discord server as well as a FC house, located in Shirogane, Plot 7, 25th Ward. Feel free to come pay us a visit whenever you'd like!Everyone is welcome to join us, no matter how experienced or what kind of player you are. Rules
Please be civil and polite! No serious antagonising and belittling will be tolerated. Don't purposely start arguments or insult others. Don't shame people that are struggling with mental health.
We are a LGBTQI+ friendly FC and we do not tolerate any kind of bigotry. Homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism or any other kind of discrimination are not welcome in our spaces.
Treat others the same way you would like to be treated. We are all adults, and as such, we could really do with being a little more compassionate towards each other!
While this doesn't happen often, we sometimes discuss 18+ and NSFW topics. This is usually spoiler tagged when possible, so please bear this in mind if you're considering joining!
The FC chest is locked, but you can have anything you want from it as long as you need things and aren't looking to sell them. Just ask any of the higher three ranks!
